Carla’s work experience includes her internships and her current position as a licensed clinical psychologist at the addiction treatment center, “Reset” clinics. Her duties have included working with clients who were displaying behavioral or cognitive difficulties, addiction, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, OCD, special needs, adolescents who were exposed to domestic violence, children who were abandoned by their parents, and many other types of cases. Carla’s recent work has included interventions such as counselling, behavior modification, cognitive therapy, acceptance therapy and mindfulness for a variety of clientele. Her extensive experience has allowed her to work with both adults and children of varying ages and cultural backgrounds, presenting a diverse range of complaints and conditions. Carla is able to communicate effectively with clients and adapt her style and techniques according to individual needs and personalities.
